This is a list of social media agencies with an office in Salt Lake County, checked against each firm's own website and a second listing on October 29, 2026. Every firm here lists social media management or social ads as a main service on its own site. Nobody paid to be on it.

Quick answer

For a Salt Lake County small business that wants someone else to plan, post and answer comments on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, start with Universally Found in Sandy, which publishes prices starting at $499 a month. Restaurants and bars should call Big Mouth Marketing, contractors should look at Legit5 in Draper, and a business that only wants Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads run for it should talk to Adtheon in Millcreek.

  • All eight firms list an office in Salt Lake City, Sandy, Draper, Millcreek or Midvale on their own website.
  • Each was also found on a second source such as Clutch, Expertise.com or Utah Business on October 29, 2026.
  • Most national agencies that rank for this search have a Salt Lake City page but no office here, so they were left off.
  • Ask every agency whether your ad budget is billed separately from the monthly fee, and who makes the photos and video.

Universally Found

Sandy
Best for: Small businesses that want posting, comment replies and Meta ads handled every month

Universally Found works out of a Sandy address on 2465 East and is the clearest buy on this list, because it puts its prices on its own site. Social media management starts at $499 a month, ads on one platform start at $299, and both together start at $799, with your ad budget paid straight to Meta or LinkedIn. That gets you a monthly content calendar, scheduled posts, replies to comments and messages, and a monthly report. Photos and video cost extra, and the site says it will tell you exactly what to shoot if you supply your own.

Services: Social media management, Content calendar, Community management, Meta and LinkedIn ads, Monthly reporting
2

Big Mouth Marketing

Salt Lake City
Best for: Restaurants, bars and breweries

Big Mouth is a Salt Lake City agency built for restaurants, and Utah Business covered its launch as a restaurant, bar and culinary marketing firm. Social media management sits at the top of its service list, next to email, Google Ads and review management. It also handles the things a restaurant needs around its Instagram: postcard mailers, loyalty apps, push notifications, print ads and private event promotion. It is on our general marketing agency list too, and it is here because social media and event promotion for restaurants are most of what it does.

Services: Social media management, Email, Review management, Loyalty apps, Event promotion, Direct mail
3

Adtheon

Millcreek
Best for: Businesses that already post their own content and want the paid side run by someone else

Adtheon has an office at 4885 S 900 E in Millcreek and only runs paid ads. The platforms on its homepage are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Google and Bing, and its site describes daily optimization of those campaigns. Its homepage does not mention writing posts or answering comments. Hire it when your own feed is fine but your boosted posts are not bringing in customers, and ask whether its reports count sales and booked calls or only clicks.

Services: Facebook and Instagram ads, TikTok ads, YouTube ads, Pinterest and Reddit ads, Google and Bing ads
4

Legit5 Marketing

Draper
Best for: Garage door companies and other home service trades

Legit5 lists an address on 11900 South in the 84020 ZIP code, which is Draper, though its site prints Salt Lake City. Garage door service companies are its main customers, and its menu covers Facebook ads, organic social media, reputation management, Google search and the follow-up side, like lead and scheduling automation. It also helps businesses whose Google Business Profile has been suspended. If you run a garage door, HVAC or similar crew out of <a href="/cities/draper">Draper</a> or Riverton, this firm already knows your customer.

Services: Facebook ads, Organic social media, Reputation management, SEO and PPC, Lead and scheduling automation
5

Pinebee Creative

Salt Lake City
Best for: Concerts, venues, events and other live entertainment

Pinebee is a Salt Lake City studio whose portfolio is heaviest in live entertainment, with smaller groups of restaurant, nonprofit, health and education work. Its homepage says its social media managers create and run campaigns and act as the brand's voice online, and its content team makes posts, images, videos and ad creative. It also does logos, print and websites, so the poster for a show and the Instagram post for it can come from the same people. A promoter or venue filling seats every weekend is the obvious fit.

Services: Social media management, Content creation, Ad creative, Graphic design, Websites
6

Biz Social Marketing Agency

Sandy
Best for: Authors, speakers and very small businesses that need social, a website and a book launch from one person

Biz Social lists an office at 63 E 11400 S in Sandy and runs social media on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn alongside websites, SEO, email and paid ads. What sets it apart is book publishing and author marketing, and the work on its site includes an author and speaker as well as a law firm, a dentist and a computer repair shop. The testimonials talk about working with the founder directly. If you are a coach or consultant in <a href="/cities/sandy">Sandy</a> who wants posts, a website and a book handled by one small shop, start here.

Services: Social media marketing, Website design, SEO, Email marketing, Book publishing
7

HyperGrowthCEO

Salt Lake City
Best for: Startups and B2B companies that want social media, content and PR run together

HyperGrowthCEO lists an office at 150 S State Street in downtown Salt Lake City and a second one in Boston. Its social media service covers finding your audience, writing the plan, posting on a schedule, watching and answering mentions, and running both organic posts and paid ads. It pairs that with content marketing and public relations, which suits a software or professional services company more than a corner bakery. Ask to see work for a company your size before you sign.

Services: Social media management, Paid social, Content marketing, Public relations, Web design
8

Top Thrive Consulting

Midvale
Best for: Owners who want a social media plan and audit, then plan to post themselves

Top Thrive lists a Utah office at 75 East Fort Union Blvd in Midvale and a second office in Tempe, Arizona. Its social media page is about setting you up rather than posting for you: an audit of your current accounts, a written strategy, guidelines for carrying it out, software recommendations and new profiles. It also has pages for running Facebook, LinkedIn and X ads, and industry pages for dentists, plumbers, HVAC, lawyers and auto dealers. Pick it if you want a plan on paper and someone in house who will follow it.

Services: Social media audit, Social media strategy, Profile setup, Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads

How we picked these Salt Lake City social media agencies

We started from the firms that show up when someone searches for a social media agency in Salt Lake City, and most of them failed the first check. Many of the pages ranking for that search belong to agencies in Atlanta, Houston, Orlando or San Francisco that publish one page per city. A few Utah firms that rank are in Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Provo or Bountiful. This list is for owners who want a team they can meet in Salt Lake City or the south valley.

Each firm had to list a Salt Lake County office on its own website, and a second source had to agree: a Clutch or Expertise.com listing, or a news story. Each site had to load on October 29, 2026, and each one had to name social media management or social ads as a main service, not a line at the bottom of a long menu. The services in each entry come from the firm's own pages. We did not copy star ratings, review counts, awards or client names, and the only prices here are the ones Universally Found publishes on its own site.

We also kept this list apart from our list of Salt Lake City marketing agencies. Big Mouth and Adtheon appear on both because social media and social ads are what they mostly do. The order is about fit for a business with one location and a handful of employees, not about size.

Organic posting or paid social ads?

Social media agencies sell two different jobs, and most owners only need one of them at first. Organic work is the posting: a monthly calendar, captions, photos, replies to comments and direct messages. Paid social is ads on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok aimed at people by age, ZIP code and interests. A restaurant on 900 South usually needs the first, because regulars check Instagram before they come in. A roofer in West Jordan usually needs the second, because nobody follows a roofer and waits for a post.

On this list, Universally Found, Big Mouth, Pinebee and Biz Social do the posting. Adtheon only runs ads, and Legit5 leans toward ads that turn into phone calls. If you are not sure which you need, look at your last 20 customers and ask how many saw you on social media before they called. If the answer is close to none, a few hundred dollars on ads in a single month will tell you more than a year of posts.

What social media management costs here

Most agencies on this list do not post prices. Universally Found does: $499 a month for management, $299 a month for ads on one platform, and $799 a month for both, with your ad budget paid to Meta or LinkedIn on top. Photos and video are not included at those starting prices. Use those numbers as a floor when you compare quotes, and ask every other firm for three separate figures: the monthly fee, the ad budget it recommends, and what it charges for content.

Photos and video are where quotes differ most. An agency that sends a photographer to your shop once a month costs more than one that writes captions for photos you take on your phone. Both can work. If you would rather handle the posting yourself, our free AI 101 class for local business owners covers writing captions and ad copy with AI tools, which is most of the weekly work.

Questions to ask a social media agency before you sign

  • Who owns the accounts? Your Facebook page, Instagram account, Meta Business Manager and ad account should be in your name, with the agency added as a partner. If you leave, you keep your followers and your ad history.
  • How many posts a month, on which platforms? Get the post count in writing. Three posts a week on the one platform your customers use is worth more than daily posts on five platforms they do not.
  • Who makes the photos and video? Ask whether they shoot on site, use stock photos, or expect you to send pictures from your phone.
  • Who answers comments and messages? A customer asking about hours at 8 p.m. on a Saturday needs an answer that night. Ask who replies and how fast.
  • How do you count results? Likes and reach are easy to report. Ask how they will track calls, bookings, form fills or sales from social.
  • Is ad spend separate from your fee? It almost always is. Ask for both numbers and whether the agency takes a percentage of the ad budget.

A social media agency is one place to spend money. You can also hire a firm that makes TV and billboard campaigns from our list of Salt Lake City advertising agencies, or read our guide to where to advertise in Salt Lake City for radio, print, billboards and newsletters.

The Salt Lake Valley newsletter, which publishes this page, goes to about 2,400 Salt Lake County readers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and we sell ads in it. We left ourselves off the list above because we are not a social media agency and we should not rank our own product. Ad options and prices are on our advertise page, and you can list your business in our Local Directory for $49 a month.

Common questions

How much does a social media agency cost in Salt Lake City?
Few local agencies publish prices. Universally Found in Sandy lists social media management from $499 a month, ads on one platform from $299 a month, and both from $799 a month, with the ad budget paid to Meta or LinkedIn separately and photos and video extra. Ask every agency for its monthly fee, recommended ad budget and content cost as three separate numbers.
Which Salt Lake City social media agency is best for restaurants?
Big Mouth Marketing in Salt Lake City focuses on restaurants, bars and breweries. Besides social media management, it handles email, review management, loyalty apps, postcard mailers and private event promotion.
Should I pay for organic posting or for social media ads?
It depends on how customers find you. Restaurants, shops, salons and venues usually get more from regular posting, because customers check their feed before they visit. Contractors and home service companies usually get more from Facebook and Instagram ads aimed at homeowners in their service area, because people do not follow them and wait for posts.
Do I need a social media agency with an office in Salt Lake City?
No, but many agencies ranking for Salt Lake City searches are based in other states and only have a city page. A local agency can photograph your shop, knows the neighborhoods and events your customers care about, and can meet you in person. Check the address on the contact page before you call.
Who should own my Facebook and Instagram accounts if I hire an agency?
You should. Keep your Facebook page, Instagram account, Meta Business Manager and ad account in your name, and add the agency as a partner with access. That way you keep your followers, posts and ad history if you switch agencies.
