Das Energi takes Saltair, Riverton's free Friday is back, and Sugar House Park's pond ran dry
Plus a Millcreek bakery that is closed exactly today, grasshopper tacos at BugFest, and a record $645,000 for a Salt Lake County house.
The extreme heat warning expired at nine last night and today only gets to 92. Tuesday matches it, Wednesday nudges up to 95, and then the whole thing rebuilds: 100 Thursday, 102 Friday, 101 Saturday. There is patchy smoke around this morning that should burn off by mid-morning.
So the front half of this week is the usable half. Anything you were putting off because of the weekend is best done Monday through Wednesday, and everything on the calendar after Thursday is an evening plan whether the flyer says so or not.

Reply and tell us which side of that Friday you're on. We read every one.
